THE FEW AND CURSED - A Weird Western Saga 😈

New wave of Stretch Goals announced just in time for our FINALE this week!

Howdy folks!

As we go into our final few days on Kickstarter with this incredibly successful campaign to fund a whole new collection of The Few and Cursed cards I'm happy to announce our next Stretch Goals \o/

And we're already on our way to unlock the next one... less than $1K!

Here we go:

As you can see we've got plenty of OverPower left to unlock and that's because I could not be more appreciative of all the support the OP community has shown with this campaign.

And also because I'm a huge OverPower Player & Collector so forgive me for being a little selfish and wanting to play the game with my own characters :D

I also wanted to continue keeping this a card-centric campaign and stay true to the original intent. We've got an amazing Kickstarter campaign planned for The Few and Cursed #12 and that one will bring a lot of new products, books and more.

I honestly did not think we would have unlocked as many Stretch Goals as we did, this is absolutely amazing and I'm happy to power up everyone's pledges as much as possible.

Let's keep at it and make the most of our final few days! How much more content we are going to unlock?!

UPGRADE YOUR PLEDGE OR ADD ON STUFF

If you are really excited about the new cards we're adding to all pledges and feels they are worth a few more bucks, there is still time to manage your pledge and add on more awesome content to your pledge :D

You'd be getting more stuff for your buck while driving us even further through the Stretch Goals - win-win!

For instance, our deck of playing cards. We are printing it with high-end casino quality card stock with linen finish and a magnetic box, not to mention it will feature all brand new art work by Bräo!

That's 54 exclusively commissioned watercolor pieces of art carefully crafted and designed for the deck of cards.

How do I upgrade my pledge?

Visit the project's page on Kickstarter one more time and you'll see a "Manage your pledge" green button just up top.

When you click that green button you'll be redirected to your pledge's info page - payment method, reward chosen and estimated delivery.

At the bottom you can spot a Change your pledge blue button:

And voilá!

A new screen pops up where you can pick any other reward tier still available. 

Thank you all so much for your incredible support, we've been doing this for quite a while now and it still amazes me to see so much love towards Red and The Few and Cursed.

You can expect to hear back from me a couple more times before the campaign is over as we continue unlocking stuff and I can't wait to share them with you!

One last Stretch Goal remaining! We are already at 30+ free collectible cards added to ALL pledges \o/

I'm speechless... I honestly did NOT think we would be able to unlock all Stretch Goals, period, let alone with one week left on the clock. Yes, I'm already anticipating the last Stretch Goal sometime this week because you made me a believer :D

This campaign was always a shot in the dark as most Few and Cursed fans are comic book readers and not card collectors but the way you all embraced the cards and the OverPower community really stepping up, I could not be more grateful.

Thank you all so much for your pledges and support.

The result is that I've never ran a Kickstarter campaign with so much added value on top of pledges unlocked through Stretch Goals. That's over 30 cards already unlocked, that's insane!

And we're now chasing the 10-year anniversary coin?!

Backers from past campaigns know that we're not stopping at $20K, there will be a second phase of Stretch Goals with tons of extra content still to be added and still for free.

The further we go, the more backers we get, the more we unlock for everyone!

I'm already in talks with the good folks at Lazarus Rising Games to see if they are up for even more Few and Cursed OverPower promo cards and we will definitely continue with the Signature Series as well.

There are also backers that offered some truly nifty ideas for new cards which I'm budgeting and considering - if you have any suggestions leave a comment or drop a Direct Message, happy to hear your ideas!

With so much time left on the clock yet there is still a lot we can do together and I can't wait to see how far we will go. Need a recap of how far we got already?

Sebastian and I go way back, I'm a huge admirer of his creativity and his writing, it's always exciting when he launches something new. And this latest comic is no different with absolutely stunning art and a super fresh take. 

If you like Raiders of the Lost Ark and Tomb Raider this is for you! Well, imagine that in reverse. Jaycen is an immortal hero who reclaims stolen artifacts from museums and returns them to their ancestral homes. Artists include Tehani Farr and there are some amazing homages. Plus there’s a treasure hunt for you in these comics!

ART REVEAL!

Dinei Ribeiro also delivered the finished colors of our second Wanted set of cards and I absolutely love everything about this. Can anyone spot all easter eggs? 

Can anybody guess one of my favorite game series of all time?

We are currently about $1K away from unlocking the last Stretch Goal and announcing Phase 2. I'm sure you'll hear from me sooner than later but until then please keep spreading the word about The Few and Cursed to your friends \o/

Howdy backers!

It is with true joy I announce this campaign has funded on Day 1 and not only that but in under 30 minutes!!!

This surprised the heck outta me, honestly. I know people love The Few and Cursed as a comic book series and sure, a lot of you enjoy the cards as part of Stretch Goals but I had no idea, absolutely no clue, how a collectible card centric campaign would go.

And you all knocked out any expectations I had...

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR PLEDGING!!

We are now unlocking Stretch Goals and I designed them to release more and more cards so basically the more pledges we get the more cards ALL backers get \o/

I wonder if we can make it all the way up to $20K... because if we do, don't think the Stretch Goals stop there.

Already tradition in The Few and Cursed campaigns, I always love to swap Updates with other exciting creators and make sure to exercise the community spirit within Kickstarter. 

The very first project comes courtesy of Frank Zanca, an award-winning screenwriter and novelist with a pretty interesting take on fairy tales. I gotta say I was pretty intrigued with his concept...

From his own page: "Fairy Tales of Terror tells the tome of a fairy tale world plagued by insanity and evil perpetuated by an unknown entity hellbent on reigniting magic in our world. In order to re-establish magic, several witches who had been banished to our world must be freed from the memory spell that is restraining their true personality. A deranged Cinderella is sent through the Portal of Pages to complete this unholy mission as is Captain Hook and his trusty fire fairy - Bramble. Together they wreak havoc on New York City."
