The Few and Cursed is a creator-owned comic book series about people trying to survive a wicked world where most of the water was gone overnight in a mysterious apocalyptic event in 1840.
The Redhead is a hardened survivor that was born in this reality and now fights to protect the innocent. As the land fell into darkness a group of men and women decided to take a stand and fight back, they are known as Curse Chasers.

Howdy folks, happy new year!
We have a lot of ground to cover today as tons have happened since the last Update in December. All items are either done or pretty much done with manufacturing happening this month \o/
But fulfillment actually starts with you all and the BackerKit Surveys - which are absolutely mandatory to fill out.

BACKERKIT SURVEYS COMING UP!
As per the last Update I'm getting fulfillment started with the Pledge Manager Surveys powered by BackerKit. These are absolutely mandatory to fill out!
More now than ever since that's where we will be collecting shipping fees and addresses - without them I won't know where to ship you rewards...
BackerKit Surveys will be distributed this Friday, January 9th and as soon as they do I will reach out with another Update with specific and detailed instructions even though they are pretty standard and easy to fill out - no sign in or sign up required.
SMOKE TEST SENT TO A SMALL GROUP
The smoke test is a period where ~5% of the backers are randomly chosen to receive the surveys first in order to make sure everything is running smoothly or address any questions if needed.
Backerkit usually suggests waiting until 75% of those are complete, roughly 48 to 72hours, before sending the rest, so we are right on time to send all surveys to everyone on Friday (January 9th) at the latest.
If you are among those 5%, please fill out your survey so that the smoke test isn't held up!

OverPower Mission Sets are almost done as well!
PRODUCTION & FULFILLMENT CALENDAR
So far everything is running as well as I announced in December. We're running a little late but in all honesty I truly was not expecting to having unlocked so much new product.
I've got artists working on all the new cards and we're almost done with all of them.
As you can see from the previews below the new 9-card sets look absolutely amazing and I've got no doubt they will look gorgeous in foil.
Even though all designs will be completed by the next few days, manufacturing can run a little longer than anticipated so allow me a few slight adjustments:
December: Artwork finished for new cards and the coin as well.
January 9th: BackerKit Surveys sent out <--------- MANDATORY TO FILL THEM OUT!
January 10th: The coin 3D model is finished so we can print the mold.
January 30th: BackerKit Surveys closed.
Early to Mid February: Manufacture finished \o/
Late February: Transit time to our hubs in the US and Uk.
Early March: Fulfillment complete!
Bräo is now moving on to watercolors to start painting over his incredible pencils.
I will be back in touch by the end of the week as soon as all BackerKit Surveys have been distributed. It's always exciting fulfilling a campaign and I'm glad we're already at this stage with this one.

PRODUCTION & FULFILLMENT CALENDAR
Alright, so I know fulfillment should've happened in December for this Kickstarter campaign but honestly we've unlocked so much extra content, more specifically cards featuring new art and the coin, that we need more time to manufacture it all.
Production itself of cards and coins don't take too long but their design and the artwork do.
But trust me, everything is already in the works and I'm happy to share a sneak peek at the new set of 9x Holofoil cards featuring the big baddie NOBODY!
With everything that's going on here's my best estimate for fulfilling this latest campaign and I truly hope we don't delay any longer but there are unforeseen moving parts like minting coins and getting them shipped across borders.
Here's what we're looking at:

January 15th: The coin 3D model is finished so we can print the mold.

I understand everyone is excited about getting the new cards but again we are victims of our own success. And I promise the longer wait will be worth it, you guys can't imagine what that coin will look like!

We got a lot of good stuff to share with y'all today :D
First up is an exclusive sneak peek at an unrevealed Ally card unlocked as a Stretch Goal freebie in the latest The Few and Cursed Kickstarter campaign launched last week!
We launched a week ago the campaign to fund production of The Few and Cursed #12, the last chapter of The Great Deluge story marking the perfect opportunity for new readers to pledge and grab the whole series with a discounted price \o/

I honestly did not think I'd have so much work with this campaign with the new stuff but your support was absolutely amazing and we unlocked a lot of stuff! I've been in touch with a few artists to get them started on the new cards.
And I'm thrilled to announce the following artists joining us for new cards:

HECTOR "ELSEVILLA"
STAN YAK
These are all amazing artists I've worked with in the past and I cannot wait to see what come up with! Bräo will be tackling a Red vs The World 9x9 card collection while Stan will be doing a 9x9 card collection featuring skills and powers of Nobody - the menacing baddie from our series.
Last but certainly not least, ElSevilla will be delivering another gorgeous Redhead artwork as our Sapphire Sig card #8!

Amazing campaign, my friends, we did it, we actually did it. We got all the way up to $25K unlocking all FOUR OVERPOWER PROMO POWER CARDS \o/
"Wait... four OverPower cards?!"
YES!
Because we did it so incredibly well these past 48hrs and so many backers added on OverPower extras to their pledges I also decided to add on a BONUS STRETCH GOAL!
This is just a small token of appreciation for everything you all did for The Few and Cursed - this has truly been a surprise in the best way possible and I cannot thank you all enough.
I was caught completely off guard when you unlocked our entire batch of Stretch Goals with just a little under a week left. As a big OverPower player myself I really loved the opportunity to release more Promo cards.
I appreciate the opportunity you all created and you made this writer and player extremely happy :D

WHAT IS NEXT FOR TFAC?
First a little bit of business. Please note your credit cards have been charged already and if they haven't they will be in the next few days. If there are any problems Kickstarter will automatically ask for backers to fix the issue and try again for about a week or so.
If you have any questions regarding payment please reach out directly to Kickstarter. There isn't much I can do other than check on errored payments and send a message to you to try and help mediate any assistance needed with Kickstarter.
Make sure your payment methods are up to date to avoid dropped pledges.
If by any chance your pledge gets dropped and you still have an interest in your rewards, do not fret, you still count as a backer when I send out the Pledge Manager surveys via BackerKit and you will have yet another chance to correct your payment method and confirm the pledge.
THE FEW AND CURSED #12 IN TIME FOR SPOOKY SEASON!
Up next is the season finale of The Great Deluge! Come October 28th, 2025, just in time for Halloween we will launch the campaign to fund The Few and Cursed #12 🎃
It will be a true celebration of everything Fabiano and I have been building for the past ten years and you might not wanna miss it. I'm sure we will unlock some exciting extras again - including new cards and who knows, maybe even some more OverPower...

Hey everyone!
A number of OverPower players reached out wanting to add a second set of the unlocked Promo cards to their tiers and now you can - plus it will help us move that needle to unlock even more cool stuff!
Every backer can now manage their pledges to add on 16 to 18 OverPower cards - the final number will depend on how many Stretch Goals we unlock by the end of the campaign tonight.
I've covered how to add stuff to your pledges in a previous Update and have added instructions to the Project's FAQ as well but feel free to reach out with any questions :D
Final 12 hours, let's do this, I'm sure we can unlock at least another Power Card if not two more!!
And if we unlock all three of them... oh boy, I have a nice surprise to announce, let's gooooooo \o/
